2013 Hatch Live Finalist: New York City-based live Rhino 3D design competition powered by Hatch Hub

Finals: Elephant Lamp- For the last round of the Hatch Live competition, the two finalists were not notified of the category for the design until four hours before the competition.  When Nelson Ayala was informed that the category would be “lamp,” an image of  Salvador Dali's Les Elephants came to his mind that he used as inspiration.  The lamp is a beautiful sculptural art piece as well as functional.
